12) Propitiation

Hey everyone, I heard this rediculously good christian band called the showdown. Ill be the first to admit that i dont care too much for christian bands, but this band was like Exhumed meets Judas Priest. So insane. But yes I have been doing quite well so far. I met a couple people, but pretty much keep to myself because Im there to learn not there to be a social butterfly or fox. Whichever sounds manlier. I watched Gattaca i think its spelt. that is a wicked movie. It was really good just very creepy and stalker-ish. Pretty weird.

Scientists tried to put human cells into a pig, just to see if it would be a possibility to transplant pig parts into humans. Guess what happened. The human cells devoured all the Pigs cells till there was 0 pig cells left. How creepy is that. I was shaking when I heard that. Its one thing to think about it. But its another thing to mess with hstuff we just cant ever understand or explain. Bad scientists, Bad.

Lastly, Im so close to selling all my items in the distro. I want to sell it all so I can use money to make a new one, or for future label projects. I just cant deal with it anymore, too rediculous. Plus when I get home Ill have less stuff to worry about. Exactly that reason. I hate lugging my distro to shows to sell stuff. Its kinda dissappointing when you dont have a partner to help you or a car for that matter. So its better off that I get rid of it.

This place is nuts

California is the wierdest place ive ever been. Without a doubt. I went to this gigantic 2 story indoor mall yesturday, which was friday of course. That could only mean one thing. All the local 13-17 year olds hanging out there. All we were doing was going to get food. So when we got there it was filled with tons of dreadlocked, patched up and drunk 15 yr old crusty people. It was rediculous. This mall was in the middle of nowhere, they had no bikes, there was also no neighborhood around it for about 5 miles. So this means they got a ride. So out of everything you could do in California, they went to a mall. To do nothing but stand around. Sure I did it too, but that was on Long Island. Out here there is so much more to do than on LI. Like going to Balboa Park. Balboa park is a big park, right next to the SD Zoo. It has over 40 museums and like 20 botanical gardens. Its such an amazing place! You could also goto in and out burger, or jack in the box. Or goto the beach, thats close to everyone out here. Theres just so many things you could do out here. I love this place. It is amazing.

Big Update

Hello everyone.

- First, I think my “scar” opened, no good at all. I realized this while I was working my Graveyard Security Shift. It sucks. But I did catch somone jumping over the fence, it was weird. scared the crap out of me. But I managed to pwn the situation. werd.
- I think Ive decided that Im going to come back to NY for the first break. Theres a couple more things I want to do before I move out here. I think I want to do some fun things with a bunch of people I might not see again. But some of them hopefully will move to California in the near future as well.
- Lately, I have been having an extreme sense of boredom, there is absolutely no reason for this. I wish this wasnt so, because It puts me in such a bad mood. I wish I could do something about it. But I cant, I have to figure out how to do this.
- I think Im giving up everything, except art. I would like to dedicate myself to art until I can get myself into Cooper Union. I would really like to get myself into that school. I just really want to be able to do what I want with my life. I would like to spend my time making art and other stuff as well. Of course, Im not going to shut everything else out, I never will. But you catch my drift.
- Busdriver is amazing. So is Free Jazz and really old barbershop quartet music. I think that is my new found love. Just the beautiful music in life. Nothing that makes you hate people or ideas, nothing that will give you a bad view on the world, just happiness and emotions. Pure love.
- I rode my bike about 5 miles today, I went to “The Movie Expierence” to meet this really awesome girl. I met this really pretty girl named Melisandra. She is really cool so far, Ive been talking to her on the phone for the last week, but I finally got to meet her. Shy at first of course, hopefully it will get better over time. I cant wait till I can hangout with her again, that would be sweet. Yes!

I am going to continue with DBR Records. I still have to find out what i can do to fix it. I have 2 months for this.

I have a doctors appointment tommorow, hopefully im fine, If I am I will praise God. If I am Sick, then I will have to deal with it. I should still praise God then too.

Evolution doesnt make any sense to me still. Some of you might be like eww Jeremy why are you saying this stuff! Bible college has changed you! No it hasnt, I have always thought this way. If I was ever with any of you at a time where you were like oh “F God” I would always get uneasy and not say anything. This college has just helped me come to terms with it more. It proves that it is true in theory and in reality. It proves evolution to be incorrect.

Go ahead, if you would like to make fun of me or anything, then go ahead. But thats just pointless. But I will willingly listen.
